A wind riding thought

Beauty is a breeze blowing in more than one direction
It drives some sailors awry, out past the deep oceans
Some pay it no heed, trusting in their oars
The cool kiss on their skins as they hug the shores
Is a moment's pleasure that oft goes ignored.

  1. And other people, are adrift of loose snowflakes, gilt paint flaking off.

    I love this line.

Beautiful picture. I miss living right near the ocean.

  3. Did you leave a window at night and let the sound of the wave lull you to sleep?
Though I never lived on a coast permanently I've always loved beachcombing, tide pool exploring, and running on the rocks. In the part of normandy where my mom's family is they have nice granite rocks, tide pools, and the one of the best creams in the world.
