Broken imagery
There are seeds of madness ingrained in the hearts of humans...
Requited love is when two people exchange one of these seeds, plant them within themselves, and the seeds somehow bloom into one thing that is theirs only.
The resultant plant is rarely, if ever, perfect; it varies with each couple, but it is a special and precious thing.

yea, it is a broken image... kinda pretty tho.
ReplyDeleteSome broken things still work and some broken things become art...
ReplyDeleteI can't say if this does either, but it plays its part.
Love is madness. We give so much of ourselves with much fear for the chance to connect with another.
ReplyDeleteLove is gleefully being together... I've never felt much fear, but I'm also circumspect by nature. If I reach a point where love is given, then I past the point of worrying. This system works out nicely for me, the more I love, the less I worry. : j
ReplyDeleteAlesa, I agree. The first time I'm ready to admit it, I've worried it would be one-sided. And those first weeks of dating before I've really known someone are stressful. After that, it's pretty smooth.
ReplyDeleteInteresting.
ReplyDeleteI've never dated... I've always gotten into friendships with my lovers before falling in love with them. I know... sounds boringly practical, doesn't it?
But here's to smooth sailing! : D
